EcoGen™ Wire & Cable

Alpha Wire EcoGen™ Wires and Cables are the next generation of eco-friendly, high-performance products that provide better performance in a smaller package. All EcoGen products contain no halogens, phthalates, or heavy metals. These wires and cables meet RoHS and WEEE requirements and feature modified polyphenylene ether (mPPE) insulation and jacket materials. The dielectric properties of mPPE lower the wall thickness while maintaining the same electrical properties as thicker PVC control cables. EcoGen products include EcoCable®, EcoCable® Mini, EcoFlex® Cable, EcoFlex® PUR, EcoWire®, and EcoWire® Plus.

EcoFlex® PUR Flex Cable

Alpha Wire EcoFlex® PUR Flex Cable provides more than 8 million flex cycles in tough application conditions while saving space and reducing weight. These cables are up to 40% smaller and 44% lighter than traditional flex cables while resisting oil, solvents, UV radiation, and abrasion. Alpha Wire EcoFlex PUR cables remain flexible at low temperatures and are available in a variety of conductor sizes and counts with shielded and unshielded versions.
