Plastic D-Sub Micro-D Connectors

Cinch Plastic D-Sub Micro-D Connectors feature a low-profile, all-plastic shell, ideal for lightweight applications where shielding is not required. Both the plug and the socket are offered in 9, 15, 21, 25, 31, 37, and 51 positions. These connectors feature a twist pin contact made from a precision miniature spring cable with a welded tip for long-lasting durability. Termination styles for the DCDA series include solder cup, uninsulated solid wire, and insulated stranded wire. The termination styles for the M83513 series are solder cup, gold-plated solid wire, and insulated stranded wire. Additional options include Cinch connectors engineered to MIL-DTL-83513 / MIL-C-83513 standards.

Space Mission Solutions

Cinch Connectivity Solutions Space Mission Solutions include Technical Readiness Level (TRL) 9 connectors, Qualified Parts for Space (QPS) attenuators, cable assemblies, and micro-D connectors. These solutions meet space flight characteristics, including outgassing the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E595 (NASA) 1% Total Mass Loss (TML). The space mission solutions adhere to 0.1% Collected Volatile Condensable Materials (CVCM). These solutions are highly reliable, rugged, and durable. The space mission solutions such as QPS components, micro-D connectors, cable assemblies, and Twinax and Triax connectors offer high performance.

Dura-Con™ Micro-D Connectors

Cinch Dura-Con™ Micro-D Connectors are D-shaped microminiature rectangular connectors that offer a highly adaptable design with an expanded range of termination hardware. These connectors feature a unique twist pin constructed of seven wires around a three-wire core. The twist pin maintains electrical conduction between pins and machined sockets during high shock and vibration to ensure high reliability. The highlight of the Dura-Con system is the pin contact that is made from a precision miniature spring cable with a welded tip. Cinch Dura-Con micro-D connectors are designed for applications that require rugged, durable, and high-performance interconnects. The series is ideal for applications where weight and space must be kept to a minimum while maintaining maximum reliability. Typical applications include miniaturized military and aerospace electronics, data processing equipment, and medical devices.
