Festo ESBF Electric Cylinders offer up to 17kN dynamic forward force, ideal for applications requiring heavy-duty, reliable positioning along with precision and dynamic response. These mechanical linear drive units with a piston rod are available with a ball screw drive (sizes 32 to 100) or a lead screw (sizes 32 to 50). The drive component features an electrically actuated spindle that converts the motor's rotary motion into the linear motion of the piston rod. The electric cylinder is based on the ISO 15552 standard, and the lead screws have lifetime lubrication, making them maintenance-free.
