F161 Polyester (PET) Film SMT Capacitors

KEMET F161 Polyester (PET) Film Surface-Mount Capacitors are general-purpose, high-reliability devices encapsulated in a self-extinguishing material that meets UL 94V-0 standards. The F161 series offers rated voltages of 50VDC to 630VDC, 30VAC to 250VAC, and a capacitance range of 0.01μF to 12μF with ±5%, ±10%, and ±20% capacitance tolerance. These devices meet IEC 60384-19 standards and are RoHS compliant. They come in EIA 2220 to 6560 package sizes with lead-free terminations and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. Applications for KEMET F161 Polyester (PET) Film Capacitors include bypassing and signal coupling.

These automotive-qualified capacitors offer a low ESR (1.4mΩ to 1kΩ ESR range), resulting in a high ripple current rating without sacrificing capacitance. The components also exhibit high 30VAC to 700VAC / 50VDC to 2kVDC voltage ratings.

Low Power Film Capacitors

KEMET Low Power Film Capacitors feature a 50VDC to 1000VDC voltage range, radial and surface-mount construction, and a +125°C maximum temperature. These film capacitors are ideal for low-power, general applications. KEMET Low Power Film Capacitors include the following series: A50, F161, GMC, GPC, LDB, LDE, PME261, R60, R66, R82, RSB, SMC, SMR, SPC, and SMP253.
