MPX Metal Composite Inductors

KEMET MPX Metal Composite Inductors are ideal for use in DC/DC switching power supplies and can be used as power inductors as well as EMI filter inductors. The inductors feature a metal composite core with high saturation characteristics that maintain function in rush current mode and are characterized by temperature-stable inductance. The series offers an inductance range from 0.10µH to 100.00µH and an operating temperature of up to +155°C. KEMET MPX Metal Composite Inductors are suitable for consumer and commercial power applications such as high-frequency DC/DC converters, PCs, servers, points of load (PoL), field-programmable gate arrays (FPGA), and battery-powered regulators.

KEMET Metal Composite Inductors offer improved power supply efficiency with a composite metal core. These KEMET SMD inductors also have high permeability for higher inductance with lower DC resistance (DCR). Other features and benefits include low losses at higher switching frequencies, a molded metal structure that reduces acoustic noise, and higher current, power, and saturation in small packages.

KEMET MPXV AEC-Q200 Metal Composite Inductors feature a metal composite core with high saturation characteristics that maintain function in rush current mode. These inductors provide a 0.10µH to 100µH inductance range with ±20% tolerance and a 2A to 90A current range. The MPXV series offers low acoustic noise and low magnetic flux leakage. KEMET MPXV AEC-Q200 Metal Composite Inductors are suitable for various automotive applications such as electric power steering (EPS), head-up displays (HUD), LED headlights, meter cluster panels, and more.
