These isolated modules offer multiple input ranges depending on the selected variant and temperature range. Each part features two fully regulated outputs that can be user-programmed as asymmetric positive and negative values or as a single positive or negative value to meet requirements for various gate drive voltages. Additional features include various protections, such as input undervoltage and overvoltage lockout, overtemperature, output overload, undervoltage, and overvoltage. RECOM Power SMD Isolated Power Modules are suitable for building and home automation, datacom, energy, automation, and infrastructure.

RBB10-2.0 Single Output DC/DC Converter

RECOM RBB10-2.0 2A Single Output DC/DC Converter is a 4A non-isolated buck/boost regulator power module. This converter operates on input voltage that can be higher, lower, or same as the output voltage. The RBB10-2.0 converter provides smooth buck to boost mode transition without any interruption to the output. This converter incorporates a compact Distributed-power Open Standards Alliance (DOSA)-compatible footprint module. The DOSA compatible module provides 95% efficiency and operates at full load in ambient temperatures as high as 85°C without forced air cooling. The RBB10-2.0 converter comes in a package with 6-sided shielding for optimal Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) performance and excellent thermal management. Typical applications include USB voltage regenerators, 3.3V<->5V converters, and supercapacitor or Li-Ion battery regulators.
